Are you a member of a local healthcare facility? Are you searching for Healthcare Equipment Funding to purchase life-saving medical equipment, enhance your existing facilities? Do you need funding to deliver important staff training or for recruitment of healthcare professionals? Hearts for Healthcare provides grants to local healthcare facilities in an effort to enhance healthcare services in Cold Lake.
Hearts For Healthcare supports:
- Requests for locations located within the Cold Lake region
- Requests for the purchase of equipment
- Facility requests which enhance patient care or access to care
- Direct training expenses for patient care teams
- Costs of recruitment initiatives
We are unable to fund:
- Requests for locations outside of the Cold Lake region
- Travel expenses
- Private business, religious group or political group requests
Our Process
Once a request for funding has been submitted, the request is brought forward to our Board of Directors . Funding requests are reviewed on an ongoing basis and could take up to 6 weeks for us to review your request. We collaborate with key healthcare stakeholders in our community to investigate what is most needed.
Organizations and individuals requesting funding are often asked to present their request during a board meeting. Once this is complete, our Board of Directors will evaluate every request and determine where financial support is needed most.
The Hearts for Healthcare Board of Directors has the right to review, approve or decline requests based on any one or a combination of the following criteria: current funds available, priorities and the order in which the request was received.
We consult with healthcare industry workers in our area to help determine the greatest need. We take their recommendations into consideration when making funding decisions, but the final decision rests with the board.
