Hearts for Healthcare Annual Gala

Let Us Entertain You

Known by many as the event of the year in Cold Lake, attending our annual gala is an opportunity for community members to enjoy a night of entertainment while raising important funds for healthcare in Cold Lake.

To celebrate this 10th Anniversary Milestone in 2019, we have invited Ten Souljers to return to our stage to keep you dancing all night long.  The evening will showcase the many accomplishments made in our 10 years, and highlight those volunteers, businesses, and individuals that have helped us along the way.

The Story:

It all began when four friends decided to make a difference!

Fellow moms with young families, the four found themselves without a  family doctor.  Recognizing a need, the ladies decided to plan a fundraising dance to see how much money they could raise to improve the doctor situation in Cold Lake.

They set out with passion, purpose and perseverance knocking on every door and sharing their vision with anyone who would listen. Met at first by skepticism, to everyone’s surprise, their little dance raised $125,000!!!

It was more than anyone could have ever dreamed. People were so happy and relieved to have a means to make a difference. It was truly an inspirational night bringing the community together for a cause that touches all of us and thus, the event of the year was born!

Enhancing Healthcare in Cold Lake

We’re pleased to announce our 10th annual Hearts for Hospital Gala is well underway. This year’s Gala will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at the Cold Lake Energy Centre. This year we’re aiming to raise $200,000 to purchase much-needed equipment for our hospital and to support healthcare professionals in our community.

Last year, our Hearts For Hospital Gala raised just over $160,000 thanks to valued supporters like you! Your contributions allowed us to purchase much-needed equipment for the hospital including a BiliSoft LED Phototherapy System, a MAC 5500 HD ECG System, a MaxiMove Patient Lift, an Intelliview X2 Portable Patient Monitor, and two Telemetry monitors. In addition to the equipment, Hearts For Healthcare welcomed Dr. Weir to the Merit Medical Clinic.
