I got involved with Hearts for Healthcare almost 10 years ago. As someone who had worked in the hospital and had been on the other side as a patient, I knew that local healthcare needed support and Hearts for Healthcare was doing just that.
I started by helping decorate for the annual gala and running fundraisers through my small business. Several years later the fundraising committee was born, and I became one of the founding members. It was our job to create fun events for the entire community. We brought you the Mega Bounce Run, a family Halloween Party, a Wellness Raffle and more.
I could not imagine giving my time to a better organization. I was born to volunteer and have enriched my life by being a part of such a great group of people.
