Sparkle in the Park 2024: A Heartwarming Success Thanks to Our Incredible Community

Cold Lake, AB – Another unforgettable year of Sparkle in the Park has come to a close, and thanks to our hosts, the MD of Bonnyville, Hearts for Healthcare is thrilled to share the incredible impact this year’s event has had on our community. Despite challenging weather conditions—ranging from brutal cold to freezing rain, icy roads, and even unseasonably warm days—our community came together to create something magical.

Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, organizations, volunteers, and participants, this year’s Sparkle in the Park achieved over 2,400 kg of food donated to the Cold Lake Food Bank, 3,100 cars visiting the Cold Lake MD Campground, and more than $35,000 raised for local healthcare initiatives.

A Community Effort

Hearts for Healthcare extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s Sparkle in the Park. From our dedicated volunteers to our hardworking committee members—Lynne Colaris, Kari Leiper, Ashley Brown, Jessica Jubinville, Eva Urlacher, Shirley Hordal, and Rob Brassard—this event was truly a labor of love.
